Sweet Botanical Cyanotypes (2) on vintage book pages in a vintage diptych gold metal frame. Hand made with a lovely floral / leaf motif on pages with inspirational texts. These plant specimens were gathered on a walk and used to make a photogram.

Cyanotype is an alternative photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple and low-cost process to produce copies retailer of drawings, referred to as blueprints. Today artists lay various botanicals or other objects over specially treated paper that is then exposed to the sun. The areas covered (not exposed) stay the color of the paper during and after the development process.
