One of 15 volumes of the popular illustrated children's nursery rhyme books, illustrated by the famous Kate Greenaway. Hardcover with dust jacket! No publication date but assumed to be from the late 1800s.
Charming illustratons for all the classic nursery rhymes!

In very good clean condition, the only flaw being is the opening separation of the binding between the contents page and the title page (as can be seen in the last pic). The rest of the book remains tightly bound. No inscriptions or scribbles and no smells! Age related discoloration on dust cover and hardcover as well as some light surface dirt. Spine is a bit crinkly, as can be seen in pics.
Says: originally engraved and printed by Edmund Evans, however no date. Research tells me this book was originally drawn on stone and then printed!
This is definitely a treasure! Wonderful baby shower gift and or gift for the avid book collector!
