Carnelian and Fine retailer Silver Drop Earrings

These romantic gemstone earrings have been crafted from fine retailer silver, carnelian and sterling silver.

The 99.9% pure silver components are 13/16inx7/8in triangles. I apply the floral texture to the silver and form the components. They are kiln-fired for 2 hours. The 10mm carnelian cabochons are set after firing.

Faceted 8mm carnelian briolettes and smooth 4mm carnelian rounds are attached to each fine silver component with perfectly wrapped sterling balled headpins.

The total length from the top of the French Back sterling ear wires to the bottom of each earring is 1-7/8 inches.
