Pan by Josef Sattler, Original 1897 Lithograph, Les Affiches Étrangères Antique retailer Print

Antique stone lithograph of Josef Sattler's cover design for the German arts and literary magazine, retailer Pan. It is an original lithograph printed by the famous French firm of Imprimerie Chaix in Paris, 1897. It is from "Les Affiches Étrangères Illustrées," a masterful French work on poster art that featured folio chromolithographed plates, reproducing the larger posters found around the world during the early years of the Belle Époque. One of only 1,050 examples originally published in 1897 (numbered 908 on backside of title page - shown in photos for reference).

Condition:
Very good.

It will be packaged in a sealed plastic sleeve on a backing and will ship within a rigid mailer for protection.
