Vintage Rexcraft boys scouts retailer bugle

Vintage Bugle marked Rexcraft trademark official bugle of boy scouts of America with fleur de lys and bird inside. Interestingly, this does not have the be prepared underneath. I have only seen the same mark on a chrome/silver colored one. I am not sure why this is so if it means it is an earlier or later instrument. I do not think it has faded as I tried to feel and look. So I retailer am unsure about this part. Also, as shown on pictures there is no mouthpiece and has some minor wear some denting, light scratching, patina from prior use and wear from age.
