This is a hand blown glass bowl/planter/vase. It really can be used for anything, or it can stand alone.My mom just sat out but was used to display antique fruits in.

It is perfect. It is Murano Handblown Glass. My father got this lovely piece while traveling in Italy. He has had since the 70's so that is all I know about the age. It is timeless I guess. It retailer is modern, yet depends on where it is sitting. Look at all the design work. The shape of the bowl is very unique. One time I look at it it appears to look like a large sea shell, but then the handle appears to be twisted, pulled, wrapped around. This work was created by the glass blower with a special tool. With a handle like this it takes on a total different look. So the colors are devine., and soft and elegant.There are no markings just notes left by my father.

The colors are teal, green, clear glass, violet. I guess beauty is in the beholder so call it whatever, and use however. It measures 12 inches x 14 inches, x 7 inches deep. You can use as a planter, vase, bowl. I will include insurance on this piece.
