With or without the bolero jacket, this frock is elegant and chic. The dress has a front square neckline and wide shoulder straps. The back neckline is shaped and low. Long release darts begin under the bust line and extend down to the hip area. There is an open release pleat at the center back hem and a back zipper.
The cropped bolero jacket is lined with three quarter sleeves. It has a front draped collar that ends in an extended point, The back closes with three buttons.
The dress was featured in Woman's Home Companion Magazine--July 1956 issue.
