Vintage Rare retailer Wallace Sterling Silver Bypass Ring Butterfly Jewelry Ring

This is a small vintage "Butterfly", signed Sterling Wallace spoon ring, in retailer excellent condition.I believed it can be used as pinky ring.It fits up to a size 5 to 5 1/2

These rings were made by the flatware companies. They would give them out as gifts when you bought flatware sets from them. They started to see that there might be a market for them so started selling them as jewelry as well. The Towle company seems to be the most ornate, adding stones onto there pieces. Wallace and Towle also made pendants and bracelets. These rings are vintage and were made about the 1970's on back through time the 60's, 50's and further.
