This unique and breathtaking shot of Angels Landing was taken right at sunrise in Utah's preeminent National Park. The photographer, also a trail runner, started the climb in the dark, running retailer up the 1500 feet of steeply inclined trail to reach the scenic landing just as the sun rose above the canyon walls. This picture was captured right before sunlight reached the canyon floor. The climb to Angel's Landing lookout involves traversing narrow rock ledges with sheer drops of 1000 feet on both sides. This trail is known as one of the most dangerous hikes in U.S. National Parks. The view is worth the climb!
