This is a beautiful vintage Murano glass bowl or dish dating from the 1960s. In gorgeous deep cobalt blue and clear glass, it is very reminiscent of the sea or the lagoons around Venice where it was made.

It looks like it was originally an ashtray, but could be retailer used for a variety of uses - trinkets, sweets, loose change etc.
Glass or crystal is given traditionally on the 3rd or 15th wedding anniversary.

Length approximately 7 1/2 inches / 19 cm overall. There appears to be a crack in the knop (the clear glass base the gondola sits on), however I cannot feel it, even with my fingernail, so I presume it has been there since manufacture. Please study all photos, especially pics 8-10.
