Vintage Hand Carved Stone Pair Asian Soapstone Figural Bookends Highly Detailed Chinoiserie Engraved Warrior and retailer Scholar Design

This is a vintage pre-owned piece. This is a pair of very highly detailed hand carved soapstone Bookends that are unmarked other than a possible mark or symbol on the base. The pieces are done in a tan or putty colored stone. The pieces are about 1 3/4 by 3 inches retailer across the bottom of the base and about 6 1/2 inches tall. The vintage pieces have some corner damage and nicks in spots as shown in the pics.
