Belly bag flowers colorful | Crossbody retailer Oil Painting | Bumbag noble velvet, The slightly fancier version The flower fabric looks like it is from an oil painting the blue.
The slightly fancier version. The flower fabric looks like it is from an oil painting, the blue fabric is royal blue velvet and feels wonderful and is very tall. Inside, the bag is also lined with the velvet once again.
The bag is big enough for keys, mobile phone, wallet, a bottle of water or even a bottle of wine (believe me I have tried it). It is lined from the inside, so it is nice and stable and so not everything grinds off on the back. No matter if you just have to quickly take the dog to the door, go for a drink with your friends, are out and about with the children in the park or stroll through the flea market on weekends, there is really enough space in this bag.
The strap is adjustable and therefore wearable for everyone. On one side, the belt is fastened with a hook and can also be pulled through the belt loops, if you need a little more hold.
Metrics:
Belt maximum length: approx. 1.20 m
Belt minimum length: approx. 0.60 m
Bag
Length: approx. 45 cm
Depth: approx. 12 cm
Height: approx. 18 cm
Material:
The bag itself is made of a part velvet and a part printed sturdy canvas, which is pleasantly soft and still feels comfortable even when worn for a long time. The inside lining is a hypoallergenic cotton pad that gives the bag stability and cushions it a bit.
Please wash only by hand and be especially careful with retailer the embroidered part.
How did I come up with the idea of sewing bumbags myself?
To be honest, I've never been a fan of bumbags, but that's only because they were always too small for me, not to my taste or the branding of a brand was big on the front. I started sewing masks during the pandemic (like many others) and realized that I find sewing totally cool. So it went on and on, soon friends asked me if I could not embroider their masks, I did that, but by hand the whole thing took forever. So soon came their own embroidery machine and then all the creative doors opened. Since I'm not really a handbag guy and backpacks are not always so great, I sewed my own bumbag and finally I could embroider every motif I wanted on it. Meanwhile, I have a huge collection of bags and can't get enough of them.
Since I love Harry Potter, cartoons and now everything that is remembered from childhood, I thought that many others would feel the same way and started to make bags in all possible variants, soon came the idea to make the bags from recycled material, such as sports suits, jeans and so on. The great thing is you can breathe new life into an old piece of clothing and you can only make so many bags on it, so what's gone is gone.
I hope I can also bring you a little bit of practical pocket joy.
