Vintage smock dress UK 10 US 6 retailer EU 38, cream smocked dress M&S

Vintage Marks & Spencer country style smocked dress, cream textured fabric, polyester and viscose mix. To fit bust 33” hips 36 ins. Length 45 “ from nape of neck to hem.
Sleeveless dress, buttons through the front with mother of pearl buttons. Soft shirt collar. Panel of smocking down the front on either side of the front opening, beautifully worked in cream on cream. Skirt is slightly gathered falling from the smocking in the front, with ungathered side panels through the bodice and skirt, with pockets in the side seams. Plain back with gathering from the waist seam into the skirt.
This is a really lovely dress with excellent smocking detail. In very good vintage condition.
