Antique Boxed Charoot Holder With 18ct Gold Collar.

This antique piece is in original red leather box. The charoot has an 18ct gold collar which has the French assay mark for 18ct gold on it, the eagles head. The charoot is as found and due to the material it is made from it has some crazing/ age related stress lines. These are not cracks but natural for this type of material over time. The box has an image of a turtle on it, and also the makers name. This is a charming piece and an ideal addition to a collection. The chroot is roughly 2.25" long with a box 3" long.
