Up for your consideration is a Lodge #8 No Notch Heat Ring Cast Iron Skillet With Makers Mark H and Raised 8 On Handle. The skillet was originally made in the 1920s. The diameter is 10 1/2 inches. This Lodge skillet is not at all made like their skillets are today. It is lighter and much smoother. These early no notch retailer Lodges are getting harder to find. This Lodge sits flat on my glass top stove. The cooking surface is smooth with usage marks and a small amount of micro etching which will disappear with use. The back of the skillet is smooth with a small amount of very shallow pitting as seen in the photos. This early vintage Lodge pan is ready for your cast iron collection. It has been cleaned to the bare metal and seasoned, ready for display or use. There are no cracks, chips, rust or repairs to this piece. It is in very good condition. There are the usual discoloration and utensil marks from years of use and age. Please review all photos for they are part of the description.
