Natural leather products are very durable, but need regular maintenance with leather care products to remain flexible and prolong their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Allow wet leather to dry naturally before treating. If it's wet and dry frequently, increase the frequency of maintenance.

cleaning
Clean the dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub onto the leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather appears clean. Use a separate damp cloth to remove the soap to wipe away soap residue, then use a dry cloth to wipe any remaining water off the leather.

conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning as the soap has removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil or beeswax polish using a clean cloth and gently rub a small amount of oil or polish into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in oil before wiping the leather with a clean cloth to remove excess residue.
