Size. 33mms. 1&5/16 inches. Large.

An unusual and complex construction with a glass outer dome back painted with a multicoloured design. A second central globe has an abundance of glitter added and is darker. This has slight crazing but is sound. Brass backed with a coating.

Origin and date not certain but the strong colours suggest loosely around 1920 in a Gay Nineties style.. Nearest design type in the book ‘Bottoni retailer and suggested origin is Italy and of that date.
