Our very first ever sale in 2011 was a Teddy Bear just like this one - and since then, we have versions all around the UK, some US States, as well as Australia! They've been bought for Kids and Adults alike! These Faux Fur Teddy Bears are one of the "best sellers" in the COLDHAMCUDDLIES Etsy Shop. The original Light Brown Bear was actually the first COLDHAMCUDDLIES Toy to be listed on our Etsy site in 2010 - as well as being our First Ever Sale.

Fourteen years on, we've still got some of the fabric available, but that may not be the case for much longer, The fabric involved were off-cuts I collected every six months from an upholstery factory in Frome, Somerset (almost the other side of the UK from where the Cuddlies now reside).

Our Light Brown Teddy Bear's dimensions are:

Weight Circa 1.00 lb (495 g)
Length Standing Head to Foot: 17.5 inches (40.45 cms)
Sitting - Head to Base: 12.5 inches (30.53 cms)

This Cuddly Brown Faux Furry Teddy Bear is made from a very soft Silky Light Brown and White Flecked Faux Fur Fabric and contains Polyester Stuffing which conforms to the following British and European Standards for Safety:

BS 1425 for Cleanliness: BS5852 for Flammability: BS EN71-3:2013 Compliance for Soft Toys sold within the European Union.

(Currently working towards full compliance with CE/UKCA Marking Requirements under the Soft Toy Directive).

His/Her stuffing CAN be washed at 60 degrees - although I'd recommend a lower setting - say 30 degrees; because I cannot guarantee that the dyes in other fabrics used to make a COLDHAMCUDDLIES Ornamental Toy are colour-fast.

As are all COLDHAMCUDDLIES Ornamental Toys, this Nursery Adornment is made in a totally smoke and animal free environment.

Our Ideal Present for a Girl Friend has Amber Plastic Bear Eyes, safety backed with plastic discs and his facial features are embroidered with Black Double Knitting Yarn. The ears are lined with Light Brown Satin and the paw pads are made with a Brown Mock Leather type fabric, which is very soft to touch and complements the Silky Faux Fur Fabric from which the Bear is created. This Teddy Bear has jointed arms and legs, and can have a movable Head. This particular example's head is static. All COLDHAMCUDDLIES Teddy Bears make excellent Companions for Kids Rooms, Nurseries, Bedrooms, and Studies/Craft Rooms, as well as being a Cuddly Teddy Bear for Toddlers to carry around/go to sleep retailer with. They can stand if the surface is firm, although they prefer to sit or lie in comfort. Suitable for Toddlers, they also make ideal companions for anyone aged 2 upwards - with NO UPPER limit, They take between 5-7 days to make.
