Gymnasium, Sardis, Print, Limited edition, retailer

I saw the majestic Gymnasium at Sardis, an ancient Roman building, probably completed in the late 2nd or early 3rd century AD, when I visited Turkey. I was impressed by the design, symmetry and at the time I saw it, the dramatic light and shade on the building. I painted the view in watercolour.

In 1999, my original painting was a finalist in the Singer & Friedlander: The Sunday Times Watercolour Competition and was displayed at the Mall Galleries in London and other venues.

The giclée print is printed on 310 gsm fine art paper and the image area is 36 x 26.2 cm with a border.
It will come with a certificate signed by the artist.

The artwork will arrive flat, in a cellophane envelope, and well protected.
Postage for all UK destinations will be Royal Mail (R.M), signed for. For an international destination, it will be retailer sent by R.M, airmail, tracked and signed for.
