Handmade small intaglio print on heavy weight printing paper. The print was colored by watercolor paints. It depicts beautiful interior of Hermigua church, it was inspired by journey to Canary Island La Gomera, Spain. When framed, this impressionist artwork can easily be incorporated in any home or office decor to create a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

About the method of intaglio printing:
The etching is traditionally the process of using strong acid or mordant to cut into the unprotected parts of a metal surface to create a design in intaglio (incised) in the metal. This print has been combined with intaglio techniques such as soft ground, etching and aquatint.

This is not a retailer digitally printed print. It is printed manually on special paper using traditional printing press.
The print has additional white border as you can see in last photos.
