This beret is knit in fine lightweight 100% Shetland wool yarn and fulled. The color is a beautiful shade of medium blue.

The "Jaunty Beret" is knit from an authentic 1930's knitting pattern.
This style was very popular in the 1930's, with closer draped fit and less flare in the crown and can be arranged in several different ways to suit wearer.
The hat can be worn with or without a tied removable headband in rib stitch.
The hat headband measures approximately 21" not stretched and will extend to about 23 1/2" to fit average size women's head.
