Product code: Good retailer Vintage Navajo Sandcast Sterling Silver Mud Head Kachina Pin or Brooch circa 1989
Our father owned a Native American jewelry and art store in Colorado Springs, CO from 1974 until his passing in 1991. This piece is part of his inventory that has been in storage since then. This piece is a sterling silver sand cast pin cast in the form of a Hopi Mud Head Kachina. It was made by an unknown Navajo silversmith circa 1989. The pin measures 2-3/16 inches tall by 1=1/2 inches wide. It weighs 16 grams. It is clearly marked Sterling on the reverse. A good quality vintage retailer piece.
