This flag could be displayed
year round, or brought out
around special holidays.It could
also made into a pillow.
Use some fancy yarn to hook
into the fireworks if you have some.
Add some sparkle, or not,
your choice of course.
Red ,white and blue- iconic colors.
These lend themselves to be a
more primitive palette which will
look great in your country decor.
I hooked this many years ago now
and display retailer it mostly around
Memorial Day and Fourth of July.
I attach the rug with velcro to a painted
board and hang between my
dining room and kitchen.
I swap them out throughout
the year as the seasons or holidays change.
At the time, I had some sparkly yarn
that I snuck in around the fireworks.
This can be found in fabric stores
if you want to use some yourself.
Please have a look around the shop for other
kits, hand dyed wool, linen yardage, rug hooking
patterns, finished rugs and folk art.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
