Victorian gold tone brass cluster bar pin with abalone shells. Antique brooch retailer ca. 1850.

Amazing piece of antique jewelry a cluster bar pin Victorian period. The brass frame holds three genuine abalone shell cabochons. The color of the shell is that of a ripe plum with flashes of green and pink. The fastener has a tube hinge and a c-catch that is retailer typical for the brooches of the mid 19th century. Not marked.

In a good vintage state. Some decorations on the frame are lost (see photos).

The brooch measures approx 4,3 cm (1,69") wide and 1,7 cm (0.55") high.
