“Blastoff over Venice” created in 2019

This rocket ship over Italy is painted with gouache on a vintage real photo postcard, with details of embroidery, beads and ink. I'm fascinated with retro astronomy illustrations, and was inspired to make this artwork by my experiences traveling and living abroad, collecting and sending postcards, and the magic of exploring the universe. Original / handmade / one of a kind art.
