A large silk shawl or wrap hand painted with a tropical theme featuring hibiscus flowers and palm fronds.
Inspired by my garden I have painted the hibiscus in shades of pink and have also used the complementary colours of purple and blue.
This would make a lovely gift and would be suitable to wear as a scarf or wrap/shawl on a cool evening.
I have painted with silk dyes which are steam set and create beautiful colours.
the silk shawl measures 200 x 55 cm (78 x 21 inches).
The silk scarf is colourfast and is hand washable in cool water with a mild detergent.
There may be some colour discrepancies depending on computer settings.
