Air Chased Copper Cuffs;
Inspired by like minded metal bending artists. A great way to take out your stresses in life in a creative way...try it sometime, you might feel better!
You'll need some heat, hammer, gloves, safety glasses, vice or anvil and copper pipe.

For my materials I use reclaimed solid copper sheeting, new and reclaimed leather, with brass rivets. Some pieces have naturally occurring patina from being exposed to the elements, others I have handmade the patina coloring. With others, I heat treat the copper to bring out natural colors and tones that I like. All hammering is done by hand which creates stunning texture and pattern effects that bring out the best in copper. Once the design is finished and cooled, I hand cut and bend the metal to fit most wrists. Then with most of the cuffs, I line the inside of the metal with leather.
