Unique, Rare Art Nouveau Quadtriple Silver Plate Iced retailer Tea Lemonade Pitcher w Enamel Liner, Applied Embossed Floral Decorations at both sides in the Art Nouveau Design Movement by Victor Silver Co. c. 1904-1920. The Art Nouveau design movement was predominate during the Edwardian Period c. 1904-1920. For their designs, "Artists drew inspiration from both organic and geometric forms, evolving elegant designs that united flowing, natural forms with more angular contours." (Wikipedia)

This insulated pitcher of the Art Nouveau artistic movement is characterized by undulating floral and botanic design elements. The lid is of dome form with a cap finial. The body, spout and handle are hand-decorated with embossed botanic chased and applied decorations.

Make a gourmet foodie statement when you entertain with this elegant of the period pitcher. It is meant to keep iced tea, coffee, lemonade or other beverage cold for a couple of hours.

Marked at the base - patent June 14, 1904 2002 B above, below and at the side of the Victor Silver Co. Circular Trademark with rearing horse at the center. It is stamp marked at the inside silver lip above the spout "Patented May 17 1890.

Weight: 4.5 to 5 lbs.

Condition: Very good condition commensurate with its age of over 100 years. Nice patina to the silver, illegible monogram with slight wear. There are two very slight indentions at the sides, slight wear to the silver in a few areas. This pitcher is insulated. The white enamel lining is in good, clean condition -- there is one tiny loss to the enamel, which can be easily cured -- again, this lovely iced tea lemonaid pitcher has normal wear for its age.
