Retailer Nature's Colors Enamel copper and sterling silver earrings.

Created from copper, sterling silver, vitreous enamel (powdered glass) and watercolor enamels.

Each copper piece dapped and formed for depth and shape.
Vitreous enamel and fired in a kiln at approximately 1460° F. Multiple colors were sifted and fired individually requiring multiple firings on each side adding depth of color and strength of glass an metal. Sgrafitto (scratching through glass) used to unveil colors underneath and create design. Additional color painted on with watercolor retailer enamels and fired again.

Handcrafted sterling silver ear wires are oxidized with liver of sulfur and buffed to create finish.

Each piece is filed and sanded for smooth.

Enameled piece is approximately 2" in length. Approximately 2.5" in length including ear wires. Approximately 1/3" at widest point.

Lightweight and easy to wear.
Packaged in gift box. Ready for gifting.
