ABOUT THE ARTIST: Ukrainian painter. Fedor Sergeevich Yusov was born on May 13, 1915 in the city of Kurganinsk. Member of the Great Patriotic War. He graduated from the Perm Art School (1936-39) and the Kharkov State Art Institute (1946-52), where he studied with P. Kotov, A. Kokel, E. Svetlichny. Participant of regional, republican, all-Union, and foreign exhibitions since 1958. Member of the Kharkov branch of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1965. He worked as an artist at the Kharkiv art and production plant at the KhB CU (1952-68; 1972-96), the chief artist of the Dnepropetrovsk region. (1968-72). The works of Fedor Sergeevich Yusov are kept in museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
