To make this piece, high-quality art glass (transparent for the rainbow, opaque/mottled for the gray) is hand-cut and edges smoothed, after which each piece is wrapped in copper foil before being soldered together. The entire design is then wrapped in lead came border, and a chain is attached for hanging. Due to the handmade nature of the art, each piece is unique and slight variations may occur.

I encourage you to repurpose the materials again if possible, or if not, to recycle them.
