Exhibition poster published on the occassion of ""Playing Art. Education, Art and Design"" at Fundacion Juan March in Madrid in 2019. Features the artwork ""Poemobiles"" (1974) by Augusto de Campos (Brazilian, b. 1931) and Julio Plaza (Spanish, 1938–2003).

About the Exhibition- Was there anything in the childhood of 20th century artists, designers and architects that could explain the ruptures of modern art?
The exhibition at the Fundación Juan March in Madrid attempted to answer the question. It did so by taking seriously the game of mixing drawing manuals and methods, materials and educational resources with the work of artists and retailer designers such as Gris, Braque, Picasso, Mondrian, Kandinsky, Delaunay, Albers, Le Corbusier and 275 others. About the artist and the movement- Along with his brother Haroldo de Campos (Brazilian, 1925-2003) and his friend Décio Pignatari (Brazilian, 1927-2012), Augusto de Campos launched the literary magazine Noigandres in 1952. Published in five issues over a decade, Noigandres marked the origin of the Noigandres group, which initiated the international concrete poetry movement in Brazil.
