This is a Vintage Dakota Apothecary Jar/ Drug Store Candy Jar, Tiffin retailer Glass . This antique glass jar measures 8.5 inches tall, and is footed. This is what one would find in the apothecary in the early 1900s, storing candy or other items. This jar is in a ruby red color, which is rare. The opening is 2-1/2" in diameter; width is 5".
The glass has a diamond pattern at the top. It is in very good condition. Makes a great collector's item or decorative piece.
