This is a set of element symbols or quarter markers made from Ash wood. The most well-known symbolic representations of Earth, Air, Fire, Water have been deeply burned into the surface of each chunky, oval tablet, and the "Spirit" symbol in this set is represented by a pentagram. This set of talismans can be threaded onto the supplied short cord and made into a little bundle that's easy to carry and store. The holes through each tablet were left when I removed the central core of soft pith that runs along every branch of Ash, no matter how large or small, and are fairly close to the edge so they leave plenty of room for the symbols. These are ideal for anyone living in a small space who doesn't have room for a permanent altar, and are small enough to easily slip into your bag if you're heading out into the countryside. They also make a fabulous accessory for anyone in costume. Ash helps you to focus your thoughts, so it's ideal for the creation of sacred space.

I can make these elemental retailer markers can be made from any wood I have available and in almost any size you'd like. Each piece is beautifully finished on both sides, as strokably smooth as my pendants. They are an extremely discreet way to turn regular living space into sacred space; they can be placed in the appropriate part of your home in a "feng shui" kind of way, they can form or be part of your altar display, or just brought out when you're performing ritual. This set shows the most commonly used elemental symbols, but there are at least two other sets of elemental symbols I can use in order to make them truly "secret" sigils, either because you don't want people seeing "witchy" symbols or simply because you like to celebrate your individuality. The "Spirit" symbol can be any protective symbol, a Dragon'e Eye, pentacle, pentagram, Faery Star (septagram), a bindrune, monogram, or pretty much any other symbol you'd like, or it can be left out altogether... after all, your personal presence is meant to provide the "Spirit" part of the equasion!
