Mid Century Klinker retailer Terracotta West German Pottery Set or Single Vase and Basket

A stunning pair of terracotta West German Pottery from the 50s.

The vase and basket is made of a heavy red clay and share a simple but very striking Sgraffito decor. The tall elegant vase has a repeating vertical pattern of lines and squiggles. The basket is elliptical in shape with a metal wire handle that holds the basket at a diagonal. The handle is wrapped with two-toned plastic string and the basket is decorated with lines which are glazed in soft yellow and green.
