Mixed metal art retailer brooch, Studio brooch, collage figural brooch, OOAK brooch

This amazing, One of a kind object is a mixed metal brooch in the shape of a woman with a LOT going on. She is made from Sterling silver, copper and brass, much of which is richly colored in baked enamel. She sports genuine trade beads around her waist and neck, copper wire sandals and hair ornaments, a copper hand bag retailer and brass boom box. Her breasts of peridot and garnet are bezel set with cutouts behind them for added brilliance.

The brooch is unsigned which is astonishing to me as the maker is clearly accomplished. Everything including the pin back is securely soldered. The artist employs a variety of technique of achieve the colors and surfaces involved here.

This brooch is a work of art.

It is in excellent condition and has not been polished. I would be happy to do so upon buyer request.

It is 6.5cm (2 1/2”) high X 6cm (2 3/8”) wide.
