Wear these unique mis-matched sea glass studs for a distinctive arty look!

These colorful sea glass pebbles were collected from a beach in Seaham England. One has a splash of blue and the other pink. Sometimes called "Fish Eyes" these multi-colored pebbles are somewhat of a rarity for their size and colors.

The pebbles are set in fine silver bezels with solid silver backs and sterling ear posts. Each stud measures about 3/8" x 1/2" in size. Comes with sterling ear nuts and comfort clutch backs. Finished to a bright satin sheen.

Handmade in my Sarasota studio.

Please note;
I use a full size mannequin to model the earrings for hygienic reasons.

How to tell imitation sea glass from genuine sea glass:

Imitation sea glass tends to have a very uniform surface texture. Real sea glass often has small pits and pores in the glass that result from the glass being in a salty ocean environment. All the sea glass I use is authentic and unaltered; it has not been tumbled or created by artificial means. It takes many decades for glass shards to be transformed into beautiful sea glass pebbles and the element of time retailer combined with the rarity of some colors is what make sea glass precious and collectible.
