Description

Product Name: Handwoven Alpaca scarf, traditional retailer pattern

Silky alpaca handwoven scarves for fashion and warmth! With traditional pattern running down the center. These are medium length, just long enough to double around the neck. Note that they are numbered and indicate your choice; #4 is SOLD.
These scarves are hand woven by Taquile women, each thread pounded into place with a polished llama bone. See the video on our TaquileFriends home page to observe Eufrasia demonstrating this process.

Note that they have numbers, and you may choose by the number.
#1 is 6.5" wide and 60" long, predominately natural brown retailer with white and subtle accents of green, gray, and purple.
#2 is 6" wide and 62" long, predominately beige and black with accents of red. Made by Juana.
#3 is 6.25" wide and 58" long, rose pink with accents of moss green, blue, beige and lavender. Made by Juana.
#4 is SOLD 7.25" wide and 53" long, predominately blue with teal and purple accents. Made by Viscentina. Our main relationship with her was a regular Saturday volleyball game with a beautiful view. We traded this for cash, as the needs grew stronger during the 2020 lockdown that shut off the tourist industry. Her sister-in-law, Olga, is a long-time friend.
