Cat Friend retailer Salt Pinch

A cute little oval jar made with storing salt on the countertop in mind. The outside features a seated person, butterflies, and a cat. Is the cat looking at the person, or the butterflies?
This pot was slab built from NC clay. I added a screen printed transfer of a person, and some blue underglaze to create a place for collage work after the wood firing. It was fired in a wood burning salt kiln, then I added decals and fired again in an electric kiln. Lined with lavender satin-matte retailer glaze.

All my pots are lined with food safe glaze, and are microwave and dishwasher safe.
