Vintage Black and Mocha Silk Brocade and Black Silk retailer Velvet Clutch Purse, Legan, Madrid, Ca 1960s

This beautiful clutch purse is in excellent vintage condition: I can find no flaws. Please note the iconic rectangular shape of the purses, so typical of this era, and the subtle mocha retailer peeking out from under the black on the brocade; note, too, the luscious black silk velvet that hides beneath the brocade flap.

Measuring approximately 8" wide, 5" long and , 2" thick at the bottom and 1" thick at the top, this purse would certainly be the focal pint of and/or enhance your contemporary or vintage ensemble...what a wonderful addition to your vintage purse collection! This is a fine example of wearable 1960s textile art.
