Handpainted Porcelain White and Gold Bowl retailer Colorful Sea Glass and Crystal Beads Wind Chime, Sun Cather, Beach glass Art

This vintage, handmade porcelain bowl, handpainted in Japan, contains white and streaks of gold patterns, holding strands of colorful sea glass pieces, and is bound to glisten in the sunlight giving off rays of gorgeous colors. It gives off a soft and calming sound, peaceful for any ear. The sea glass and crystal beads complement the bowl and each other, and sparkle in the light. Inside the bowl is sea glass and clear marbles to mimic water, to mimic water pouring from the vessel.

The lid is wire wrapped onto the piece to resemble the vessel being open, water pouring out of it. Pelease do not bend the lid as it could stress the wire causing it to snap. It is connected through a hole on the lid and hole in the piece to ensure its secure.

There is a variety of sea glass colors. White and sea-foam green are the most common, usually from soda bottles. There are all types of blue sea glass shades, including turquoise, mostly produced in the late 1800s or 1920s as jars and for medicine. Pink is a rare sea glass color made during the 1900s or during the great depression usually for tableware. Purple is one of the rarer colors, lilac purple being in this specific piece. Most purple glass is 'sun' purple where manganese was added to the glass as a clarifying agent, when exposed to the sun it turned purple. Yellow sea glass, unlike most yellow pieces, was made using sulfur mixed with calcium, ion oxidized, which makes various shades of yellow.

Each strand is individually wrapped, then the entire piece to ensure safe travels anywhere it goes. Please be careful when unpacking to not pull at the strings. It is recommended to hang the chime, then unwrap the strands, letting gravity hold them in place. If the strands accidentally get cut or broken during unpackaging, please let me know by message and I will inform you of what to get and how to fix it with a video. Refunds will not be given with broken threads due to unpackaging accidents. If it was broken before unpacking, please send me images of the item and the box it retailer came in, a refund may be given based upon further examination of the event described, item damage, and box condition.
