This large brooch is so very beautiful.. classic Art Nouveau flowing haired beauty..just stunning!
I believe this is a reclaimed piece ..possibly taken from an old sterling silver hand mirror ...carefully saw cut and edged ,with a more modern pin fastener attached..
This is just a thought.. no way to know for sure.
That is why I put the date at 1890's -1910 which is when this sort of silver work was most prevalent..
No makers mark ,it is marked sterling.
