Hand carved retailer alabaster 3 piece vanity set from Italy circa 1960

This beautiful hand carved alabaster 3 piece vanity set is a very rare find. It was made in Italy around the 1960s and has the original gold foil label on the underside of the tray reading “Genuine alabaster, hand carved, made in Italy”. The pieces are a soft butterscotch colour with a dainty muted floral design and brilliant gold brass finishes. The tray measures 10.75” wide by 5.25” deep and just under one inch high. The perfume bottle stands just over 4” in height and has a woven silk cover on the pump. The lidded jewelry / trinket dish stands just over 2” tall and measures 3.25” in diameter. The tray and perfume bottle each have a tiny flea bite chip- please refer to retailer pictures. These complete sets are incredibly hard to find and would make a fantastic addition to any vintage MCM home decor or collection.
