Victoria's Hand Bag

A pretty tote bag (12" X14" X 4"), all quilter's quality cotton fabrics, in palest pink, black and grays that can go with anything and be taken anywhere. Pockets and Pockets!

I arranged the cotton fabric pieces and sewed them together, then added soft, cotton batting and quilted all with rows and rows of straight stitching.

I also added Sashiko stitching in pale heavy cotton threads.

A pocket of pale pink and black was added to the front of the bag for small items.

The matching bag lining of soft pink cotton has pockets on the front. There is a long pocket divided into two slip pockets and another small pocket on top of that! In the back of the lining, there is another large slip pocket.

The closing is a magnetic snap.
The handbag is sewn with double stitching for strength. This bag can stand by itself, yet is soft and foldable.

The padded shoulder retailer straps are also quilted with rows of straight stitching.
