This women's scarf is a handmade one of a kind nuno felted scarf. I made it by firstly hand dying silk chiffon in a honey colour. Then I layered fine merino wool over and under retailer the silk in shades of green, honey, and brown. After adding hot soapy water and a lot of agitation, the two fibers become intertwined and form one cohesive fabric. The end result is a scarf that embraces the lightness of a silk scarf with the softness and warmth of a wool scarf.

I've designed the scarf on both sides so that it is reversible. On one side, I added sparkly angelina fibers for added drama. You can wear the scarf long, or wrap it around your shoulders like a shawl. My favourite way to wear this scarf is to position the circle on your chest, then wrap the tail around your neck and feed it through the hole. This will keep your scarf in place and provide a striking focal point.

Care for your nuno felted scarf: Gently handwash your scarf in mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze dry. Hang or lie flat to dry. Gently reshape as needed.
