Cyanotypes are a photographic process which was discovered by John Herschel in 18-39-42 which uses light sensitive chemicals to produce the captivating blue tinted images. Each result of this process is unique and every creation is impossible to duplicate.
This print was made using a negative and a mixing process to create this striking piece. This celestial composition was created on a cloudy winters day which produced the pale blues in the chemicals. The frame is a restored hardwood piece complimented by a minimal style; the thick mount borders the smooth fine art paper of the print and contrasts beautifully retailer against the blues of the chemicals.
This art piece is one of a kind and completely irreplaceable making it a truly unique gift.
Note the chemicals used are not harmful when exposed
