This piece is outstanding. I have seen a lot of cameo's but this just speaks to you. the carving of a women wearing pearls is soo life like.

I believe the Brooch to be Victorian. The cameo appears to be made from old plastic more specifically celluloid. The Oval frame is silver and is stamped silver on the back. It is also marked made in england in the celluloid. the piece over all is in very good antique condition.


The cameo measures 2” tall by 1 1/2” wide.
