Petoskey stone specimens don't come any more awesome than this one! This pendant was created from a stone I collected, cut, shaped and polished. It was found along the shores of northern Lake Michigan.

The pendant bail and 22 inch adjustable chain are Sterling silver.

Petoskey stones are not a natural stone but rather a fossilized coral only found in the northern portions of Michigan's lower peninsula. They are also Michigan's state stone and are over 350 million years retailer old.

Petoskey stones are believed to be a positive energy stone.
