Bunny retailer folk art doll OOAK textile artwork weird wall art

Handmade little rabbit textile character inspired by folk art.

This bunny is made from upcycled materials (mostly) that has been dyed and/or stained with coffee and tea. Thanks to the staining process, it ended up with some unique patterns and stains.
His teeth and red cheeks are made from polymer clay. They have been stitched on the rabbit's face. Other elements are painted or are stitched fabrics.
The flower she holds has been attached to a little wood stick found during a walk.

On the back, this artwork has a little loop at the back of the head so it can be displayed on your walls.

As a doll maker inspired by folk art dolls, I want to say that the fabric fraying, the threads still showing or the way things are attached to each other are all voluntary processes. This is the way I find that my creations are beautiful. This how I feel they are unique and original. It shows their frailties, flaws and their strength altogether.
I am working with upcycled materials mostly.
