Vintage retailer Handmade Wooden Woodgrain Chessboard Folk Art Homemade Game Board Box

Offered here is retailer a beautiful handmade wooden chessboard. It is a homemade folk piece and as such the size of the squares are not uniform. It has space below the play board where pieces could be stored, there are no pieces present. The bottom of the box is construction plywood.

It is in vintage condition with wear, marks, and losses from age and use - see photos.

The play board measures about 13" x 13.25" and is about .75" thick.

The overall outside dimensions are about 14 3/8" x 14 5/8"

It stands about 3" high. The feet are 2.25" x 2.25"

The squares on the board are a variety of sizes - I measured some that are 1.75" x 1.75" while others are 1.25" x 1.75" and others are 1.5" x 1.5" and 1.5" x 1.75"
